The affiliate marketing industry is always growing, and it remains a lucrative one.

I know this firsthand—my journey in the field has taken me from Germany to Barcelona, where I now work full-time growing EmailTooltester and Tooltester together with a terrific team.

Affiliate marketing is at the core of what we do, so we make the effort to stay on top of the latest trends and strategies.

While competition has tightened over time, there’s now a lot more information on the topic than when I first started. This is something all of us in the industry should take advantage of.

I’ve rounded up some of the best affiliate marketing newsletters to keep you up to date with the latest developments, so you can grow your own business like I did.

Stay In The Know With These 8 Affiliate Marketing Newsletters

1. Niche Site Growth

What’s it about?

If you’re a hands-on learner growing a niche affiliate marketing website, Niche Site Growth could quickly become your favorite. Every month, there’s a case study you can sink your teeth into. Plus, you'll get regular SEO and keyword tips that you can use to boost your affiliate business.

Who’s behind it?

Ian H, who’s been building niche websites for more than 7 years. He’s also an SEO and keyword research consultant via his company, Curated Keywords.

What I like about it:

Despite its modest following (over 6,700 subscribers), Niche Site Growth is active and packed with insightful content. The case studies, for one, are a goldmine for fresh insights. One example: this email on how a 19-page niche site is close to earning $200,000 in its first year of affiliate marketing.

Boasting over 67,000 subscribers, Niche Pursuits is more than an affiliate marketing newsletter; it also dives into related topics such as blogging and other side hustles. It also comes with an accompanying blog, YouTube channel and a paid community for even deeper learning.

Who’s behind it?

Spencer Haws who left his 9 to 5 in 2011 after building several, successful affiliate sites has been on my radar for a long time (mainly because he ran Long Tail Pro back in the days). He’s transparent about his successes and challenges getting there, offering insights into his journey. Aside from running Niche Pursuits, he continues to build, buy, and sell niche websites.

What I like about it:

Learning from someone who’s truly living the dream and is still deeply involved in the industry—you know the tips you’ll get are always fresh and actionable.

Plus, Niche Pursuits reviews affiliate programs, sparing you the hassle of trial and error.

What I like about it:

Pat writes every issue himself, so you’re always getting expert advice straight from the source. I enjoy tuning into the “Story of the Week” section, where he brings real-life insights into marketing strategies, wrapped in engaging storytelling.

Plus, the bite-sized format makes it easier to get straight to reading as soon as an issue lands in your inbox. It’s perfect for those who tend to put their newsletter readings off to a later, more convenient time.
