Email marketing for events

As an email marketer, finding an email marketing conference that strikes the right chord is frustrating.

Most digital marketing conferences touch on it, but don't dig deep enough into the strategies and tools that can make a difference.

But with email marketing boasting a 3,500% ROI, we should never sleep on staying current. It’s part of the job!

Last year (2025), I had the privilege of attending Email Innovations Munich and speaking at the virtual Global Email Marketing Summit—so I’ve seen up close how valuable these gatherings are for sharing ideas, tactics, and real-world experiences with fellow email marketers.

I can’t wait for the next one!

But in the meantime, I’ve put together a list of email marketing conferences.

Why? Partly for myself, to keep track of the best ones, but also for fellow marketers like you, who are looking to stay up to date with the latest developments in the industry.

Email Innovations World dives into the future of emails, covering tech and trends. Last year’s speaker line-up included founders and email strategies from companies like Email Connect, Stripo, Air France, and more.

Email marketing conferences often cover topics like email coding, campaign strategy, deliverability, and emerging tools. Usually, some sessions are accompanied by hands-on activities during which marketers can practice their newly acquired skills.

Unspam is Really Good Email’s 2-day email marketing event for non-conformist marketers. It’s highly recommended, with 9.2 of 10 attendees encouraging others to join in.

What to look out for:

Unspam does more than just cover industry trends—though it certainly does that too. This year, they’ll tackle important topics such as “The Great AI Misuse: Why Most Email Marketers Have It Backwards” and “Why Accessibility Matters Even More in the AI World.”

But what I love most about this event is its focus on a variety of niche topics, such as:

  • Mind the Messaging Gap: What Hero Section Tests Taught Us About How People Read Email
  • The Responsibility of Reach: On Cultural Timing, Emotional Intelligence, and Knowing When Your Brand Doesn't Belong in the Moment
  • Writing Email for People Smarter Than You

What to look out for:

If you’re struggling to plan out your email strategies, the first keynote presentation is worth watching. Chad S. White will teach you how to prioritize them to achieve your email marketing goals.

The conference also covers a lot of AI-related email marketing strategies, but one session really stood out to me for being different. It’s not your typical how-to, but instead helps you get inside your customers' heads by learning how AI affects them. It’s called “Why Your Customers HATE AI and Why YOU Should Tread Cautiously”.
